Overview

HTMLSlides is local-first software. Your presentations, speaker notes, and settings are stored on your machine only. We believe your data belongs to you, and our architecture reflects that principle at every level.

Desktop App

  • No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking
  • Presentations are stored locally on your device
  • Speaker notes are stored locally and never transmitted
  • The app communicates only on localhost (WebSocket for presenter sync)
  • No data is sent to HTMLSlides servers — there are no HTMLSlides servers

The html-slides Skill

  • Open source and runs entirely within your local AI agent
  • The skill itself makes no network requests
  • Generated presentations are saved to your local filesystem

Website (htmlslides.com)

  • May use basic analytics for understanding traffic patterns
  • No personal data is collected beyond what you voluntarily provide

Email Collection

  • Email addresses collected via waitlist are used only for product updates
  • We do not sell or share email addresses with third parties
  • You can unsubscribe at any time
